More Blogs are Coming!

Hi everyone!  I hope you have been enjoying the last few blog-free weeks.  I am gearing up for another whole year of blogs, but in the meantime, I wanted to share this verse I was reading the other night.  It occurred during the Exodus from Egypt to the Holy Land.  Then Moses said to [God], “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here (Exodus 33:15).

If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.

This seems like a fitting verse for the start of a new year, and has become my prayer for 2013 (and every year, really):  God, give me the strength and the wisdom to go where you send me, but if You do not go with me, do not send me!

Wishing all of us the Presence of God in the coming year… and always.

By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people (Exodus 13:21-22).
